Social Economic Justice

NAPAD recognizes the importance and of education and the need address the social, cultural and community traditions that prevent women and girls to access and complete education and skill development programs. The organization aims to create an enabling environment for girls and nomadic children’s learning, including safety, hygiene, and mobility; advocate for universal access to quality early childhood, primary and secondary education; provide formal and non-formal education for youth and women; implement education curricula that are gender sensitive and eliminate gender stereotypes, sexism, clan-ism and clan ophobia, and provide teacher training to enable them deliver un-biased and non-judgmental education.

To realize equitable education and dignified life for women, there is need to end all forms of gender-based violence including early and forced marriages, female genital mutilation, and sexual violence, especially during and after conflict and natural disasters; to promote values of respect for human rights, freedom, non-discrimination and gender equality as enshrined in the local, national and international laws on human rights.
